Now that smoothie season is gone, warm and soothing recipes are on the hot list for this cool weather. For this recipe I switched up the typical Oatmeal and tried a new addition to my pantry-Quinoa Flakes!  Its texture is more like cream of wheat, so if you prefer your oatmeal then swap it out.


Prepare the hot cereal on the stove over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.  Add a little more water if it gets too thick. Dish it out and add your favorite toppings!


1 cup Quinoa Flakes in 1 ½ cups of water cooked to desired frequency-(approx 5-7 minutes)


¼ cup mangos

¼ cup soaked goji berries (about 15 minutes)

2 tsp toasted coconut flakes

2 tbsp soaked chia (about 10 minutes)

2 tbsp soaked black sesame seeds (about 1-4 hours)

2 tbsp Almond yogurt

2 tbsp hemp seeds

½ cup Homemade Hemp Seed Milk
