If you enjoy a salty snack with your movie or evening treat, try this healthy popcorn recipe that will satisfy your crunch cravings and fuel your body with the essential good fats of cold pressed hemp seed oil.

Preparation:

In a large pot, melt the coconut oil or earth balance on medium heat and add the popcorn kernels and completely coat them in the oil.  Put the lid on and wait until you hear it start popping.  Move the pot around the element, shaking side to side and continue to hover the pot just over the heat until all the kernels are popped.

Add the popcorn into a bowl and pour on your oil and spices and enjoy!

Recipe:

2 tbsp coconut oil or Earth Balance butter replacement

2 tbsp organic popcorn

2-4 tbsp hemp seed oil

2-4 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)

2 cloves of crushed garlic (optional)

salt and pepper to taste
