When I was at the store to get the ingredients for this recipe, there was a young

boy and his father that were in the produce aisle filling up a bag with Brussel Sprouts.

The boy said, “dad I love brussel sprouts and can’t wait to have them!” The dad saw

me smiling and I said, wow thats a rare thing to hear! We had a chuckle as the boy went

on to explain why he loved them and told me his favorite style to eat them was with garlic

and fried onions. Amazed with a new feeling of excitement for this somewhat unpopular

vegetable, I filled my bag and went home to create these beautiful gems.

Preparation:

Sauté the onion in the coconut oil on medium heat until nice and brown and then add in the garlic and cook for another couple minutes until brown. Add in the Brussel sprouts and sauté covered for 3 minutes. Add salt and pepper and other spices and then put them in a dish. Sprinkle with slightly warmed hemp seeds and drizzle on hemp seed oil and serve.
