This is definitely one of those warm fuzzy recipes.
The rainy weekend (and the fact that I have been weaning myself off coffee for weeks), inspired this yummy coffee-like Chaga tonic to accompany my book break.
This Immune boosting rich, warm, soothing and uber healthy tonic, brings a new energy to your morning brew!
Chaga is a rare parasitic mushroom grown on Birch Trees and if this is something you’ve never tried before, or know nothing about, I highly recommend researching it and giving it a try!
2 cups brewed Chaga Tea
1/4 cup homemade hemp milk
2 tbs raw cacao
2 tbsp Lucuma Powder
2 tbsp Mesquite Powder
2 tbsp Maca Powder
1 tbsp sweetener to taste
Add all the ingredients to the Chaga tea in a pot on the stove on medium heat. Whisk in all the powders until desired temperature and sweeten to taste.*If you don’t have all the superfoods listed above, then just use some cacao and a sweetener.
